The academy are happy to consider outstanding NQTs but suggest that the role might be better suited to English teachers with experience across the curriculum

• Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice
• You should have good decision-making skills
• Candidates should display creativity and an ability to inspire pupils through the planning, preparation and delivery of highly stimulating, motivating and well-sequenced lessons

The last Ofsted report rated the Academy as ‘Good’ and mentions that Leaders are taking effective action to raise standards at the Academy. They are determined that all pupils do their best. As a result, pupils’ achievement is improving quickly.
