Job description

Step Teachers is currently partnering with a Primary School in Cambridge to hire a Part-time Teaching Assistant. We are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or higher) to join our dynamic Primary School situated on the outskirts of Cambridge to start after the half-term.

Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Maintain a well-organized classroom with accessible resources as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members in the classroom and across the school.

  • Willingly adhere to the school's policies and implement them effectively.

Requirements:

  • Essential recent experience working in a Primary school as a Teaching Assistant.
  • As a Teaching Assistant, you would need a good knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Possession of a recognized HLTA qualification and relevant experience for an HLTA role.
  • Consideration for applicants with a Level 2/3 certificate.
  • Desirable experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
