Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6, as well as assist with the after-school club, starting in November 2025 on a temporary, ongoing basis.
Pupils are happy, safe, and proud to be part of a caring school community. They achieve well across a broad curriculum and respond positively to high expectations. Staff listen and support pupils effectively, fostering kindness and confidence. Enriching experiences and leadership opportunities help pupils grow personally and academically.
This role is 3 days per week and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school environment.
Duties as Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils in Years 4–6 with their learning and development
Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and targeted support
Assist with planning and supervising after-school club activities
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.
A caring and proactive attitude
Flexibility to work across key stage levels and after-school sessions
