Year 1 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners at a key stage in their education, helping them transition smoothly from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as a Year 1 Teacher:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
Supporting children in developing key literacy and numeracy skills
Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing feedback and support
Encouraging independence, confidence and a love of learning
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development
Ideal Year 1 Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
Be passionate about delivering a broad and creative curriculum
Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 1 Teacher.
Be dedicated, adaptable and committed to ensuring every child achieves their potential
