Year 3 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils at a key stage in their learning journey, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential. Beginning January 2026.
Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Supporting pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and broader curriculum development
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
Encouraging independence, resilience, and a love of learning
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ development
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
Be passionate about delivering a broad and creative curriculum
Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping all pupils succeed
