Year 3 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a maternity cover basis starting in January 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to support individual learning needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Maintain high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply
Overseas-trained teachers with relevant qualifications will be considered, provided they have strong spoken and written English proficiency
