Year 4 Teacher
Job description
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a key stage of children's primary education, helping to build strong foundations for future learning. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Year 4 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Use effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform planning.
Create a positive and nurturing learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and wellbeing.
Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
Contribute to wider school life, including events, trips and extra-curricular activities.
Ideal Year 4 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Recent or relevant experience in Lower Key Stage 2 is desirable.
Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum.
A reflective and creative approach to teaching.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 4 Teacher.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusive practice.
