Year 5 Teacher – Part-time maternity cover from January 2026 to July 2026

 
This part-time maternity cover is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a well-supported school community. Duties as Year 5 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance learning outcomes
  • Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching in UK primary schools, particularly Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and subject expertise
  • Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to pupil development
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
