Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Maths Teacher to join a thriving Mathematics department and start as soon as possible. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable), inspiring students to develop confidence and achieve their full potential in mathematics.
Duties as Maths Teacher:
Plan, prepare and teach high-quality Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum and exam board specifications.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting ambitious targets.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates learners of all abilities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practice.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, enrichment activities and school events.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching mathematics.
Excellent classroom management, organisational and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
