Duties as a SEN Nursery Nurse:

  • Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children with SEN within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Assist with planning and delivering play-based, child-centred activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.

  • Collaborate with the SENCO, parents/carers, and external professionals to support each child’s development.

  • Be caring, patient, and adaptable, with a passion for supporting every child’s potential.

  • Understand the EYFS framework and SEN Code of Practice as a SEN Nursery Nurse.

  • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with children, parents, and colleagues.
