Job description

Step Teachers are seeking experienced SEND Teachers for daily supply roles around Northolt, starting in November 2025.

Duties as a SEND Teacher:

 

  • Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs

  • Supporting students with a range of additional and complex learning needs

  • Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to create a positive learning environment

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a calm, inclusive atmosphere

  • Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback to pupils and colleagues

Ideal SEND Teacher:

 

  • Previous SEND teaching experience is essential

  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different schools

  • Strong communication and organisational skills as a SEND Teacher.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) required
