Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish/French Teacher to join a school on a long-term temporary basis, starting in April 2026. This is an ongoing position with the potential for extension.

Duties as a Spanish/French Teacher:

  • Teach engaging and effective lessons in both Spanish and French across Key Stages.

  • Prepare and deliver lessons that support students’ language development and cultural understanding.

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress.

  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and enthusiasm for languages.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the modern foreign languages department.

Ideal Spanish/French Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching both Spanish and French within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Spanish/French Teacher.

  • A passion for promoting languages and multicultural learning.
